Boire field is located just north of the Massachusetts border in the city of Nashua in southern New Hampshire. It is a fairly small yet busy towered Class D general aviation airport with a wide range of traffic from helicopters to small jets. It is also the home of Daniel Webster College's flight training facilities.

Hawthorne-Feather Airpark is located in Hillsboro, NH. It was once associated with the now defunct aviation school at Nathaniel Hawthorne College. Nathaniel Hawthorne College closed in 1989, was repurchased by somebody in the '90's but never reopened, and is now for sale. The airport, however, is alive and well, at least as far as I know, and supposedly is the base for 11 aircraft. The default airport is very misplaced in FS, and these files fix that and add some detail to the area. Includes textures by Jim Campisi for the default DC-3 for the Hawthorne College DC-3s. |

A small airfield northeast of Worcester, Ma,
home of EAA Chapter 196 and its Young Eagles.
Set in the woods and fields west of Boston,
it has a nice restaurant, a 2770 ft paved runway
and a 1600 ft gravel runway. A great place to go for a
$100 hamburger! Also included are MA52 and 2 real
undesignated private airports not included with FS with
fictitious designations: MA11 Crows Island and
MA05 Collings Foundation Museum Airfield.

The FSG 38m mesh messes up the GW bridge. The use of UT/USA, USA Roads, and Freeflow NE, and many other road and water packages makes evident that many bridges and objects around NYC are not properly placed or oriented. This addon is for use if you have FSG 38m mesh intalled and UT/USA, Freeflow NE, or USA Roads installed. It is also compatible with Aerosoft's Manhattan and Megascenery NY. It should also be compatible with any other roads package or package which CORRECTLY adjusts the coastlines and roads in the area. |

Webster Field is an outlying airport related to PAX Naval Air Test Center in Maryland.
In a support note I saw an image of this airfield in Ultimate Terrain showing its runways extending out into the water. So I fixed it. In looking around I found several other airports in the water and fixed them, including 2MD1, 3MD6, and 8VA2. 2MD1 and 3MD6 also needed an altitude fix to conform to the FSGenesis 38m terrain.

Several of the airports I have released needed to be relocated and their default flattens had to be removed either because they were at the wrong location or incorrect height. This zip file contains the default "Flatten" files with the flattens removed from the following airports:
- FL927180_new.bgl - 3MD6
- FL928160_new.bgl - NH07, NH20, 69NH, NH49, 8B1, KFIT
- FL929160_new.bgl - NH84, NH43
- FL928170_new.bgl - KHPN
- FL929170_new.bgl - MA55, MA72
I have also released them with the individual airports, but collected them here as well so they can be in one place.

The FS2K4 Scenery SDK does not document all the usable values for the textures for the Bottom, Window, Top, and Roof layers for the GenericBuilding object. The undocumented higher numbers access the Small, Medium, and LargeAirport.bmp textures in the FS9\texture directory (unfortunately, it won't look locally for these textures, so you only get to choose from one set of files). SceneGenX supports creating buildings with these textures, but does not display the correct image for the various numbers. This file gives cross referenced images for those undocumented texture values. In order to use these undocumented texture values, you must specify a texture for the Window Layer in SceneGenX or the XML file even if its height is 0, otherwise the textures won't work. Unwittingly, I created the images using the files from AEU7, but I will eventually update it with the textures from the default versions. But you should be able to figure out the differences. |

Collected here are updates to
update Milton Shupe's aircraft
for use in FSX. To use them, install the latest updated release of the aircraft in FSX per the instructions in the airplane downloads
(which you can download at Avsim.com).
Then copy the contents of these downloads over each of the installed
airplane directories.
To facillitate this, I suggest you create a directory in your FSX
installation directory (typically C:\Program files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X) called Aircraft
and install the planes to this directory. In other words, if you
create this directory, then all FS2004 automatic installation routines will
know where to install files if you tell it to install to your Flight
Simulator X directory instead of your FS2004 directory. Feel free to download whatever you'd like.
